Carnival of souls review

This was quite an uneasy film to watch. I mean uneasy as in it gave me a creepy overall feeling while watching it. After the first few opening moments you'll realise that there is something wrong with the whole ordeal: not just a few things. The acting is nothing to write home about and the films musical score is sparse to say in the least but both are fitting. Story is also shallow ‎to the point of not being there (see the Film and you'll get the joke). This was a very fresh look at the horror genre for me as it didn't feature any jump scares or any gore which nowadays goes hand in hand with horror films. A great film to watch and a lesson on how to make the audience uneasy for up and coming film makers.
