Deadly fight in Hiroshima review

Yep: that's right folks, I finally got my hands on the collected works of director Kinji Fukasaku in a boxed DVD set known as "the yakuza Papers". I did a review on the first installment of this 5 DVD saga (battles without honor and humanity) two months ago and boy did I enjoy that movie. My hands were literally shaking with the adrenalin from the excitement I had of finding this gem and I had to hold off on opening it till I calmed down a bit so as not to break anything. Also known as "Hiroshima death match" this film lays out problems of being a large criminal organization. Films such as these are not really meant to be watched in succession because the story proves to be a little too much and the plot also moves quite fast and thus you need to be fully switched on when watching a single movie like this. This second installment is violent...not Hollywood type of violent or even "ichi the killer" violent (won't be watching that again) but this is raw and brutal gang violence; (no glorification like most western films) and sometimes justified but in a twisted sense. The plot gets more and more complicated as the organization continues to expand or to simplify: because of a third a monkey wrench in the works that messes up things. Now that I have this set in my possession I am not going to tear through it but rather take my sweet sweet time and enjoying all movies at my leisure and there's a bonus disc as well which is just icing on the cake. So as much as you guys are waiting for the three follow up reviews: be patient...there will be a wait.
