Deadpool review

If you have been reading my reviews for a while then you would know how big a fan I am of comic books/graphic novels (Marvel in particular). I'll admit that I wasn't really into the "Deadpool" comics having just read a few pages and dismissing it but what I will admit is that I did enjoy the movie. There is a BUT coming you may as well say and you know what? You're right...my opinion is that it just did not stand up to the more well known Marvel superheroes (or anti-heroes) created by Stan the man Lee. Yes it was enjoyable for as long as it lasted however it could have done with a bit less humour. I mean like humour is good but when you over do a good thing, it goes down to amusing and then to grating. Anyway...the violence (rubs hand....sinister chuckle): this is something the "wolverine" films should've done. "Deadpool" plus swords equals violence..."Wolverine" plus claws and personality equals pure carnage where is that? Like I said I enjoyed my time at the cinema watching this but the humour was a bit too much (I did laugh a few times though). Lets hope that the sequel can do better and if you're listening Hollywood/Marvel, bring on an 18 rated Wolverine picture.
