Xmen days of future past review

I've been bought up reading comics namely spiderman, batman, superman and on occasion the XMEN. Never could get into the stories revolving around the xmen and the only character that held my interest and allowed me to finish the mutant story was wolverine and this latest outing of the misfits is centred mostly on mentioned character. Am a marvel comics fan so did watch all previous films but came away disappointed as they were more flashy CGI than story but this one isn't. I love it when computer effects are done properly (subtle and essential to the story) and no complaints from me for this one. As an added bonus we get to see a more human side of wolverine. Yes I know there are two solus movies about him but this shows him as a team player. The running time does seem a bit longer than it actually is but is not an issue. A highly enjoyable film and a fitting end maybe? Let's see what they do with the next wolverine movie (SPOILER ALERT) rumoured to be his demise. A truly fun filled experience for comic fans and moviegoers alike it's Bryan Singer at his best. Go in expecting a story with heart and soul rather than back to back explosions and non stop action.
