Nightcrawler review

Okay. So I actually went to see a "take two" showing of "Hercules" but due to unforeseen circumstances, I watched this instead. By no means a bad movie and neither a very good one; it held my attention throughout its entirety. Blurring the line of media broadcasts between lawful and ethical...I was in awe and did have the question in my mind of disbelief. No way can the media behave in the fashion portrayed here...or can it?? Scary thought. Acting is top notch from all involved and the main character played by Jake Gyllenhaal does a most impressive job playing a de-moralized media vulture. In fact it was a screen stealing performance. Again I would say that it was a film that I would not watch again but would recommend it to anyone to go and see. Haven't seen Gyllenhaal in such a role before and doubt if I would so again. His performance is truly frightening and a contrast to the crazy rants written for him. Also of note is that he lost about 20 pounds for this role. This film has to be seen to be believed.
