Confessions review

I recently saw a video review about "best films" and  although it included some of the films I have enjoyed (the chaser, I saw the devil, oldboy to name a few) I had not heard or seen this movie and decided to track it down. First things first...if you like your films fast paced and full of action then look elsewhere as this film makes drying paint look faster. However, this film is very interesting to watch; a little bit like how one looks forwards when doing a puzzle or solving a baffling mystery and looking forwards to the next piece. To say anything about the plot would be a huge disadvantage to anyone wishing to go watch this so the less said the better. I will however highly recommend this title to anyone looking for an intriguing story.  Also take into consideration that most Japanese films are really dark in nature and from the Western point of view...really messed  up. Films that focus on story lines and not over  the top CGI are far and few in mainstream Hollywood but thankfully that is where the foreign market fills the gap. Enjoy.
