Not the usual kind of film that I would watch but an uneasy masterpiece of a film nevertheless. I did do some digging into this after I had watched it and to my surprise found out that it was based on a true story which made this film a bit more bizarre for me. Without giving anything away, this film is kind of hard to watch the further and further you go into it. What starts out as an everyday affair turns into something much darker (is there a shade darker than black?). Guaranteed this film will not be to everyone's tastes and although this is a border line pornographic movie; those of you expecting a cheap thrill will be disappointed as this is a very serious film and the sex is NOT thrown in to make it look pretty. My best description for this film would be to say that it's a dream turned into a nightmare in which you have no control over the outcome and wakefulness is not an option. Films nowadays tend to keep the audiences feelings in check but not this one. If you are easily offended by graphic scenes of sex and taboo subject matter then give this one a miss but if you want to see a film about the darker side of human psyche and a film that pulls no punches then give this a viewing. You will be horrified and you will be baffled by it but it is an important piece of cinema and one that is worth watching if only once.
