Victor Frankenstein review

When the words "Hollywood monsters" is said what comes to mind? In my case it's Dracula, Frankenstein, wolf-man and (to a lesser extent) the mummy. This film: although interesting and entertaining: was more like a slap in the face of the original story. Wait a minute guys...I said interesting and entertaining so before you condemn my blog just hear me out. It is another adaptation of the classic Frankenstein story but told from Igor's point of view (should've been called Igor's Frankenstein). This story focuses more on Igor's story and the kind of assistant he was to Victor Frankenstein. Both actors do give a very good performance. Daniel Radcliff as the hunchback Igor and James McAvoy as Victor Frankenstein really do complement each other and play off each others performances. For you romantics out their there is a romantic interest...however, it is done somewhat poorly. Watch this as a monster movie (as you should do with "jurassic world") and it's an okay film but as a chapter of Frankenstein...there are much better movies out there. Sceptical but fun.
