Glory road review

As I mentioned before in my review of "million dollar baby", I do enjoy watching sports movies especially boxing and American football. However, I am no stranger to other sports and having played basketball in my teenage years...I was familiar with the fundamentals. But I did not have the knowledge of American history of basketball and so I watched this film as a piece of entertainment. This film is highly inspirational telling of a team struggling with tensions for the time period and also a telling of exceptional teamwork and the bringing together of people of different backgrounds. Reading a little bit about the history (after I saw the film), I did come to realize that some aspects of the film were exaggerated (to coincide with the movie making and story telling is my guess) but nevertheless it was still a hard hitting film. The only aspect of this movie that I found fault with was the credits because the real life players were interviewed quite late into the credits roll. Apart from that minor drawback the story and the games shown were truly heartstopping and a pleasure to watch. A rare gem of a movie and very inspirational which should be seen by everyone.
