To all extent and purposes I think that I should dedicate this review to my lovely wife as this was the only series of films that intrigued her and if not for her, wouldn't have these films in my dvd collection. Riiigggghhhhtttt.....that over and done with let's move on to the review. I'd like to mention that Blade is a marvel comics character albeit not well known and the first colorful (pun intended) character of his kind in comic books. The 1998 film "blade" was a surprise hit and the sequel moved it up a notch providing blade with greater dangers and more technology and more than lived up to the reputation of the first. Sadly, the third film was a shadow of the first two; good film just not the "high octane" end to the trilogy that we hoped for. So, if you have a love for action movies, comic book fans or not, then these movies are a must see. Also if you have a surround sound set up then you'll be doubly pleased.
