comparison rather am here to review the film from a neutral
perspective. Yes if you have seen the original before this then that
version will win hands down. But as a standalone movie it is a really
good one. Good pace, good action and above all a good story. The
storytelling is rather straightforward and forces the writer/director to rush
through some crucial sequences but all in all, the story is there
albeit not so hard hitting. Try as I might, I cannot help but compare
this so my ending statement will be that although I went in to the
movie pretending like I was watching an entirely original movie, this
remake is a Marmite film, you either enjoy it or you don't . The plot
is almost the same but changed so that things that shouldn't have been
changed have and the things that should have been changed were not. An
interesting watch but most will not enjoy it.
