Recently I chose a movie (under the wrong name) but ended up watching this instead. A good story though somewhat lacking the oomph I have come to expect from the Koreans and there is a reason as to why. This film was made with the goal in mind of impressing western audiences. Even watching it in 2D, I could point out the scenes that were meant to dazzle in 3D and for that, it's unforgiving. Sadly not being able to watch anything in 3D without severe nausea I cannot comment on how it looks but am sure that it would have impressed those who are easily impressed by latest technological feats. Still trying to pull off a feat which you are not used to is a tall order and in this case the 3D seems a bit tacked on. The story suffers as a result of this and loses its way half way through the film. The saying "try to copy others and end up losing yourself" comes to mind. All in all a good watch but story doesn't hold up to other similar titles and many will find it a bit bare in terms of storytelling the genre is known for.
