Husk review

Well what can  I say? Afterdark pictures has released a few memorable pictures in the past but with this release I would say that it's 83 minutes of my life that I will never get back. Looking at this neutrally, It's an ok film I guess with the usual "jump" scares but it has the feeling of deja vu throughout. As I sat through this movie (nodding off on occasion) I couldn't help wondering "why"? Maybe it was because I was bored or maybe because I was too lazy to change the channel but I did find my drifting between sleep and wakefulness quite pleasant. Still it did have a more entertaining feel to it than some other modern horror flicks I have seen. I did check out the rating for this on imdb.com and was surprised to find that it was given a 5.1...WTF...am I missing something here? 5.1 says that this dribble is almost passable for a film. Maybe its just me who has different taste for horror movies.
